I’m wondering if Barry O’Farrell help us archieve this? Considering his background with the state government. My gut instinct says yes, which could be a big win for our new board.
The problem will be if the team becomes competitve in the next few years before the renovations are complete. You could imagine we start averagine above 25K for games at commbank, which will mean it won't make sense leaving it completely.
I know we didn’t win but there was a moment there where it finally felt like we have our club back. It’s been over 10 years since we’ve been somewhat competitive and have looked like a decent team. You could see how much it meant to everyone in the crowd and it just sucks we couldn’t hold on.
I miss this competition. It’d be great if they brought it back.
I wonder if we’d still be as competitive. From memory, we had a link with Keebra Park + our solid junior catchment, which really helped us.
I don't think we have won substantially in any game this year (i could be wrong).
It would be great to put together a 30+ win together this week or next.
I like the jerseys this year but I am a proud advocate of us ditching the 'V' for a while.
Wests Tigers best years did not have it so maybe it is cursed?
I think club officials also have to be club first. I remember listening to an interview with Brett Kimorely (NRLW coach) before origin teams were selected. They asked him who would he select out of Luai and Moses and he said Moses.
I know he doesn’t coach our men’s team, but Luai is our club...
If we lose, shake the opposition's hands and get back in the effing sheds.
So over seeing our team stand on the field having a laugh with the oppositions after playing terribly.
We lost the game when we decided to kick the penalty goal.
It was the first time in the game we were applying pressure, and rather then backing ourselves, we decided to take the easy points. We lost momentum straight after and never looked back.
