What about our safe haven of 9th? Can we do it?

    Tallyn Da Silva #270

He was already on big money next year. He left because he wanted to be first choice in 2027, Richo said he could go now to try and save money. Not the first kid to think he’s ready when he’s not.

Not sure how, the forum does something to the link when I post it.

Had a bad game, made worse by the Moses sprays. Not ready for NRL but I think the pile on is harsh. Not everyone is ready at 19/20.

Brave of you to post this straight after he plays the worst game of his career.

No link but he got multiple serves from Moses and then made more errors. Seems to have issues passing left to right.

Tallyn is having a shocker for Parra.

These long contracts are such a joke these days especially if you’re a top 50 player in the NRL. Interesting that the Tino doesn’t keep getting asked about his clauses the way Luai does.

He’s the one I’d pick out of any prop in the NRL.

I wouldn’t say no to him but I think he’s too similar to Terrell. I’d prefer the Papali’i, AFB, and dare I say it Stef style who are not as high work rate but every hit up is 10+ metres. We probably won’t get either so it’s all a dream.

The haters won’t like that. Happy to play lock or in the halves. So much better than that clown that went to the dogs. Benji needs to have a long term plan for Latu and AD and it needs to be the right one if 2026 is going to be successful.

He’s definitely got the injury prone label on him based on the past few years and I think that leads to a lot of the perceived inconsistency. Will he continue to be injury prone? That’s the gamble.

I know To'a is not the flavour of the month, but I'm not writing him off as "inconsistent" this year. He was our most potent attacking threat and was good defensively before his arm injury and in hindsight I don't think he should have been picked as it impacted his fend in attack and he was...

Same. If Api injured I don’t know what we do. Haywood is about 12 months away and Hope doesn’t have the defence for NRL. Someone like Havili for a year would be good but I don’t think we have the top 30 spots.

I’ve been thinking the same. Benji needs to work out before the players get back for preseason which one is half and which is lock and get as many reps there as possible

IMO No. We’ve had a fairly good run with injuries this year and we may not be so lucky next year. If we get the right starting prop and AD/Latu spend a lot of time in the pre season in their 2026 positions and Benji gets an experienced assistant I think we can. Lots of ifs there.
