Agree 100 % tiger_one.
The article I read on here said the 35 players he was forced to wrestle were instructed to show him no mercy in any way.
This is a case of modern day physical and mental torture dished out for a very minor offence.
I cannot believe there are still idiots out there who are...
Oh dear :( how sad, and yes, I had forgotten.
This is a perfect example of how much pressure talented sports people are under to be out there at every opportunity, stay injury free, and not have unnecessary pressure put on them by some numb nut trainer.
As you said and @Snidest 0 said...
I hope he gets every penny of the 4 million$$$ Spartan.
If his psyche has been damaged to such an extent that his footy career and something he loved doing, has been taken from him by some boof head, he's being compensated for the $$$ he would possibly have earned if he was able to continue...
And a good club Imo would be WTs, as I think Benji has the ability to communicate with each and every player in the way 'they' need to bring out their best, as does Wayne Bennett.
I suggest this kid's career is probably over, and I hope he gets everything he is fighting for in the way of compensation.
I know of a really good and decent WTs supporter that had the distinction of playing for Australia under 20's in Soccer.
His career was ruined by his then coaches...
I hope Ciraldo and Gus get hauled over hot coals big time, and very slowly, for the treatment dished out to this young bloke.
Some blokes do need this sort of treatment to bring them into line, but others need to be cuddled/encouraged with kindness and 'positive' criticism.
I know of a bloke...
I'm with you Vicious.
We've seen Bulla do some very exciting things, but they are few and far between Imo.
I've been very disappointed with his slow rate of progression, and at the moment I have to compare his general play with the dude we got from Penrith [can't think of his name] and has gone...
I reckon we expect more from and are less forgiving of our own players TT 01.
We want our players to be winners and therefore get very disappointed when they stuff up seemingly simple [for a 1st choice NRL level player] tasks.
Yep, he was under a lot of pressure last night, made a couple of errors, didn't drop his head and bounced back each time. As you said he has "so much heart".
I read today that NSW has $3 billion in the Westinvest Fund.
If they can't release $200 million/$300 million of that and put it towards upgrading CSS, things will be lookin pretty crook in Talarook Imo.
Absolutely no reason whatsoever CSS can't develop the 'heart and soul' you mention WC, once we start winning games, on at least a fairly consistent basis.
But on the other hand, you will probably never like CSS as they don't allow you to smoke your foot long cigars in there.... you're a human...
