Went from a fan favourite to a self obsessed, loser player with a loser mentality that embodied everything wrong with the club in the last few years
Soon as his mates in charge were gone and he was held to a decent standard he had a cry. Not a player we want around at the club anymore. Good on...
We definitely need a backup halfback... do we have any other 7's at the club who aren't kids?
Could see us signing an outside back who can cover multiple position, fullback/centre notably.
What happened to developing the kids? Tupou oved To'a. Simpkin over Liddle or Brown. Fonua Pole surely gets a run sometime soon. Madden over Brooks too.
Other assistants have ended up doing good though
He's been a successful coach throughout all the juniors systems and is very popular with players.
He's a coach who knows how to develop players and adjust game plans to suit a team accordingly. Older coaches tend to get stuck in their ways...
It'll be Ciraldo. They want a young coach with fresh ideas who can develop young talent and that's Ciraldo. I reckon it would be a very logical appointment, whether it works in practise will be another story but on paper he makes the most sense
Here's the thing - two coaches now gone. Bulldogs and Warriors on the lookout for new coaches. If we pointlessly hang onto Madge and wait and see how he goes (he will fail) there's every chance we have less opportunity to sign the new coach we want
Let's not get stuck sticking with Madge...
New excuses every year.... a coach in his fourth year who has taken the club consistently backwards should not be afforded a fifth chance. If we continue like this he cannot be here for 2023.
Exactly. He has no hope of impacting a game coming off the bench when we are getting dominated.
Should be starting and Musgrove should come off the bench. Stefano is not a player that needs to be worried about, same as when everyone said Laurie was awful at the start of the year lol
