How is Jhye Richardson going these days? Is he fit and in form? Hed be an asset in his home ground at his best. Hazelwood is a big loss but replacing him with Boland, we lose nothing. Starc played a few odi and t20 too I think. His work rate would need to be managed

    2026 NRL Draw

There are certain things that "sell" Roosters v rabbitiha Gf reply Manly vs Melb Broncs vs cowboys Dogs vs Eels Etc etc We will probably have 2 of these games because they sell Have a feeling that they'd have made sure Melb Penrith Brisbane roosters get their byes around origin too That's...

    2026 NRL Draw

Right I see a fair draw to Tigers was low on their priority list for this year.

Has the NRL addressed this yet?

    OFFICIAL Jarome Luai - #295

You can only straighten the attack if you're a threat with the ball and can engage defenders. Right now, defenders are sliding off him too easily. The timing of his passing and his kicking is extremely off. I think he just needs to spend the entire off season practicing kicking. As a ball...

Winning with the Kangaroos doesn't give you any credit.

    Jahream Bula #269

Lol I forgot Bateman was managed by Moses. This guy has been badmouthed by literally every team he's been in since he's joined the Raiders. Now I can see Ryan Matterson is on the last nerves with the Eels too. Robbo said something about him when he left Roosters. Is he managed by Moses too by...

    2025 Kangaroos Ashes Tour

Having Edwards over Walsh or Moses over Clearly isn't devaluing the jersey because the players are inferior, but because the perception would be that this third game is a dead rubber and they're giving the jumper to keep everyone happy. Playing for Kangaroos is the highest of all accolades IMO...

    2025 Pacific Championships

I hope people don't jump to conclusions with the medical staff. Only one person has been ruled out in warm ups or training for failing HIA and that was Tupinua last year or something at the Dogs. I doubt Concussion protocols are taken that seriously in training. What this proves to me...

    2026 pre season

Crazy to think our last game was 8 weeks ago, still another 17 or 18 or so weeks to go. I know these guys work damn hard but it's weird that RLPA wants longer off seasons

Abbott struggled which I believe is rare for him. However, it was a 200 pitch so not bad from the bowlers with Abbott being the weakness.

    OFFICIAL Jarome Luai - #295

The players have nothing to lose by signing with their clubs. The precedence has been set multiple times especially with us that ask for a release and you'll be granted.

Wests Tigers Gears Up for Long-Awaited $95m Hotel Scheme

Sounds like there is no ROI, hence HMG isn't investing much into it.

    OFFICIAL Jarome Luai - #295

The word "culture" has too many connotations to it. To me, Luai instills professionalism. When to train, when to let go, when to get at 110%. Off field, you get your diet, lifestyle changes, constant stretching, constantly doing stability exercises, hwo to zone out or zone in. All these...

    OFFICIAL Jarome Luai - #295

I did mention that he has had an impact off the field, but other players aren't stupid. They can see Luai is struggling. He has done a great job at getting us signings like Mays, KPP, Fainus etc. His on-field is important and you cannot neglect that. He's able to bring in players because they...

    OFFICIAL Jarome Luai - #295

I don't mind the description "adequate". But for someone on $1.2m, adequate at best isn't enough. I'd even take adequate for majority of the season and brilliant for 4-5 games a season. There is absolutely no doubt that Luai is not producing on the field that you would expect for an Origin...

    Jahream Bula #269

Tedesco is elite in the 1.1-1.2m range. I honestly would take Bula over Paps at this stage of their careers. Edwards is taking a paycut to win premierships and probably around the 800-900 mark as well. Turbo is agreeing to a deal between 700-800k because of the times missed. The point I'm...

    Jahream Bula #269

It's a hard balance to strike between keeping the player happy and also not making decisions that shackle us for the future. We need to be able to keep good relationships with players and having so many messy break ups (regardless of fault) makes it harder for management IMO.

    Jahream Bula #269

Haven't read the pages here but one of the podcasts mentioned that with the mutual option, if Bula activates it before nov1, he gets $800k and if we do he gets paid $900k. If no one does, he's unsigned for 2027. End the Mexican stand off and do the deal at 850k. Get it done without dragging it.
