I don’t see why Fa’agutu can’t transition into a prop and as for this year Fa’agutu and Laulilii are only taking development spots and by next year will both be ready to play a bench role if needed
Staines has been decent this year in terms of yardage and under the highball and as for Bula the guy is about 30 games into his career and visibly improving each week and if you can’t see that your blind
Staines is doing a job for now until Luke Laulilii is ready, Doueihi is a good centre if he can stay healthy, Bateman I think provides a lot more for the team then what people think and Papali’i might not be a ball playing lock but he was good there yesterday
Who would be disappointed with this team next year?
1. Bula
2. Staines
3. Doueihi
4. Olam
5. Turuva
6. Galvin
7. Luai
8. Utoikamanu
9. Koroisau
10. Klemmer
11. S Fainu
12. Bateman
13. Papali’i
14. L Fainu
15. Mooney
16. Twal
17. Pole
Stefano got on a plane yesterday morning and joined the boys and had a pretty good game all things considered and if we don’t resign him we will not find anyone better
everyone on the forum who said we are asleep at the wheel for not signing James [This word has been automatically removed]ing Schiller you just had to trust the process of course we were gonna have a quality player lined up
Is it cause he isn’t good enough or just getting on with the playing group or coach or something? Or is it just that he wants to go back to nz and play union again?
Is the Alaimalo stuff speculation or something that you have heard? I knew it was a long shot and he is up there in age but I thought with a bit of cup experience he could have been a handy winger for us at the end of this year
Between Matamua, Fa’agutu and Laulilii we have 3 great prospects for ball playing locks but Matamuas time looks to have passed as they refuse to use him there or even give him a consistent crack in NRL as for the other 2 they are only 18-19 so I think unfortunately Benji is happy to wait till...
