I can see Aloaia playing a lot this year. We had hoped liolevave would be our gun junior and he may turn out ok but i can see a lot of murdoch masila in him. The thing i like about Aloaia is he runs hard and hits hard. No holding back for him. Edwards is very good defensively but doesn’t offer much in attack. For me i’d take the more rounded player but in saying that Edwards will get his game time as we know injuries will happen. I don’t want to see hunt in our 1st grade side and as i doubt we will have any backs in state of origin he will be waiting for injuries. I’d prefer addo-carr , heleta or rankin over hunt.
Don’t see why they can’t do a member’s draw at each home game. Prizes don’t need to cost the club much. Give the fans a special opportunity to meet the players or some signed gear. Maybe some freebies by the sponsors.
Maybe he could go in for a ManBun thing on top although with the amount of hair Aaron has it would be like those beehive girls from the 60’shttps://encrypted-tbn3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRKjaubi8Dwo6puQGQRU7xb0bBZzR7lzEUcBlHwrD0EetFvflKG
No one Is doubting or bashing Farah
My viewpoint was brooks farah didn’t look right
I said forget the politics. Taylor has come in and seen Farah at 900k compared to other hookers value and made decision move him on
. Get ballin to work with cherrington 1/3 price . Always said would Farah get 900k at Broncos or Melbourne robbie had an advantage over tigers we had to pay overs for him now it’s hurting us he over 30 and not the value he was mid 20s
I also prefer our starting props to be Woods/Seumanifagai, Seumanufagai has improved a lot with and the last season played 30-40 minutes, averaging more than 100 m, he missed very few tackles, IMHO he is ready.
Graham shall partner Grant as subs, leaving Sue to play lock.
My bench would be:
Need to start with beating the Warriors at Campbelltown. Consider this forum, we’re the first to talk the Tigers up after a win - Oh look, they did this great and they did that well and we’ll win next week for sure…
And then there’s the flipside when they lose and people spit the dummy on here and go into meltdown, blaming the coach, blaming the players etc.
Winning games brings the fans out and shuts the critics up, because how can anything go wrong when a team is winning?
Let’s start with winning round 1, that will get things off on the right foot.
Yep 100% agree, winning footy games is what we need to do to turn this thing around.
It’s just a bustard of a. Place to get to if you’re not. Local. On Fri night or MNF… Impossible
Mate now they have finished the roadworks with the extra lane on the expressway has made a massive difference. I am a inner city dweller, but I don’t mind making the trip out there and the ground is a good football stadium for the sort of crowds we tend to draw
I travelled down there for the entire Magpie tenure,I also am from the inner city but Liechardt on MNF or Friday night same as …anywhere in Sydney on those nights is a joke . The M5 is great with the new upgrades but it is a hike, the club is going to have to make a decision soon on a ground IMO time is running out to finally put foundations down and build a fortress ,l do not care where it is but 3 grounds is a joke .
I didn’t see the game but from the highlights it seems Nofoaluma played well, how did the other wingers go Hunt and Rankin? I don’t want to judge him on the highlights but Hunt looked like he dropped a bomb that led to a try and made a bad read which led to another try.
They both did OK, nothing outstanding. It’s difficult to know who might be best in that position over a sustained period of games. Of course Addo-Carr is in contention and then there’s the option of moving Kevvy Naqaima to wing and putting Chee-Kam at centre as well. There are options so that’s a good thing.
Rankin is a special for the vacant wing position, at least if Taylor still wants to keep Moses away from the kicking duties. Although he had Mitch taking the shots in the first half
I get the impression Rankin is a smart player, reads the game well, and this is what might give him the advantage over the others, his kicking as well of course. If he is the preferred option then it’ll be interesting to see how long he can hold down the spot given that circumstances are bound to change as the season progresses.
I have to admit despite me posting it ? It is seriously getting boring all this crap and they try to butter him up……then BANG " How do you think you will get on with JT when the Seasons gets underway " .
There going to Pounce at every opportunity and when things are getting tough throughout the year ? have to keep strong and not give them an inch , cause we know the questions about JT and Farah are going to come at some stage…the only way to shut them up and say that everything at Wests Tigers is smooth sailing is only going to be when we are winning games.
They both need to stick solid for the cause if not the blaming game will continue IMO.
I would prefer Robbie to be kept away from speaking to the media FT, now that he is not Captain there is no need for him to be offering up talk to the press imbeciles IMO. That would be the easiest way to prevent him being asked the ‘Farah v Taylor’ questions every week.
Robbie seems to bung on about disliking all the hype, questions etc but continues to be a very willing participant in all things media-related. Do yourself…and us…a favour Robbie and give yourself a self-imposed media ban for 2016. I am sure his performances this season would benefit from giving all media a wide berth.
It seems to be an ego thing IMO, he loves to be seen and heard.
Mate your spot on , there is no need for Farah to speak to the media FULL STOP!!!
Do we seriously need the added pressure of the media with the bile and questions they would ask Robbie throughout the year at every opportunity……why put yourself in that situation when you know what your going to get from the Media with the Questions.
His not a Captain anymore so there is no responsibility anymore in answering anything.
FTB i’m seriously starting to believe your quote and think your spot on " It seems to be an ego thing IMO, he loves to be seen and heard. "
