@Thaiger It’s decision making as much as skills. The NSW Cup team had one occasion where they had a 4-1 overlap out wide and the ball got to Rochow (our first man on the left edge). Rather than simply catching and passing he decided to take the one opponent on with a soft hit up. He had time to pass, but chose to take the soft hit up instead. Inexcusable. I think it’s also an issue with playing players out of position. They’re not used to being in this position so don’t necessarily back their skill-set to pull it off. Talau for instance should be playing further infield as he has the ball skills to get the ball wide. I think he should replace Aupouri/Garzaniti to better utilise his current strengths.
