Please, please, please Mal, keep showing that undying( when it suits)Loyalty to your qlders and keep picking DCE in your Origin team,
It's such a comforting thing to see him named , when the selections are released.
Us NSW supporters love to see the confusion he installs in the Maroons team when he has the ball.
His across the field runs are a delight to behold, as he searches for some way to escape getting belted .
Mal, we think he definetly has that Captaincy aura ( Cammie said so last week, so it has to be true)
Anyway, just keep him there, he may look like a deer caught in headlights, but he provides so much pleasure for us Blues supporters
Let's see that Loyalty continue…....Please

Oh and I nearly forget.... He should be there , even if just for that warm feeling of unity and comradery that he generates in teams that he plays in...

Flat track bully, looks like a super start when up against a run of the mill side and comes crashing back to earth when he comes up against a quality team. I actually thought the blues seven had a great game and if rumors are true and he ends up at the coast, they may end up with a better player and half the price of DCE

I'm with you. The last time he played a GF he almost got the Eagles over the line by himself. Fitting into that Qld side in such a crucial position is obviously a tough gig for him. Him and Cronk are 2 completely different players.

Big shoes to fill replacing Cronk, who has had eons playing alongside Smith & Slater and in more recent years, Thurston. Totally different halfbacks too. DCE may click with them eventually or he may never click with them, but I think he needs a little more time in this arena before he is judged as an Origin dud. I always remember how Farah was judged to be an Origin dud after his first few games, as well. Also, Hodkinson who is now looking more likely every time he trots out - I thought he was good last night, calm and controlled - exactly what NSW need.

I've never said that he wasn't a good half in club games , just that ( on his games so far) he has been extremely poor in Origin. Pearce was no worse than DCE has been , and he was treated as a joke despite playing well in the NRL, so until DCE can show that he can handle Origin(?as Pearce has this year) he can cop the critism that goes with his performances, just the same as Pearce had to.

Absolutely, he deserves criticism for his performances, but I don't see the point in bringing his club wage in to the argument. He's an exceptional club player, who at the moment just doesn't cut it at origin level. Not the first, won't be the last, and Manly aren't shelling out all the cash to see him succeed for Queensland.

It's a nickname he's likely to carry while ever he plays, it was the nsw players who came up with that one, I don't think he'll be exactly crying about that one.
There's a lot of nicknames that he could be called, just ask some of the Manly players.
