2 Ball Protest

As a protest against the 2 ball farce and the NRLs inaction I think it would be a great idea if every supporter ( or even better if WT provided balls at the game ) turned up at the game with a football to throw onto the ground when Melbourne were attacking. I know I am going to cop flack on here but honestly i'm over the NRL and their bias to some teams, their protection of referees, their flounting of the rules when it suits them.
Can you imagine the sight and the feelings of supporters of other clubs when footballs come streaming on to the ground.
The NRL is a total farce and need to be shown up for what they are.

No, don't do that
We are all frustrated and upset, no need to lose your head over it though.

It will be all forgotten once we start winning some games.
In the meantime lets just hope this bad period passes sooner rather than later for us

Not the way to go about it, do it before the game starts, whats it got to do with Melbourne?

Who care what it has to do with Melbourne - it has to be done during the game to see what the referees do - if its OK for 1 extra ball on the ground then it should be OK for 30 extra balls on the ground. Do you understand the point of a protest.

I reckon everyone should take a ball to the next home game Badger officiates and hammer him with them as he runs out.

Do it as the players run out on the field at the start of thr game. Definately dont do it during the game.

Why not - its not PC? - the whole point is to show what a farce the NRL is - they continue to get away with the crap they do because no one does or says anything.

No i dont care about being pc, its a dog act to do that against a team, really its cheating. Your point would still be made doing it as the players run out.

If we do it while they're attacking play will be stopped, refs will pack a scrum & storm will get the feed.

Rankin should've caught the ball plain & simple. Actually that could be said about a number of our blokes yesterday.

DUH - its cheating to kick a second ball on the field to put off someone catching another ball. Its cheating to give someone a boat they never knew existed, Its cheating to keep 2 sets of books to avoid being caught for cheating.
OK I give up this is why we will never be a super power - we just roll over and take it up the ass.

Can see what you are saying though, all of these dodgy decisions etc that only ever happen to WT and it is never mentioned by anybody, where is Greenberg the slimy little flog to explain why the appropriate action wasn't taken on the field yesterday after the 2nd ball fiasco? He gets money for jam that dog.

I would love to see it, you can imagine the media coverage afterwards.

I guarantee if fans were to start chucking footies on-field, NRL would react very quickly to ensure it doesn't happen again.

I never said that those werent cheating, but I dont need to resort to the levels of others. I know its hard but you cant live by a motto of if you cant beat them join them. If we followed that motto we woukd be roiding our players up because thats what other teams did.

I'm sure there'll be one or two cheap foodies find there way on the field
It's not like we are throwing bombs on the field

Its about protest, a bit of fun and characters in the game…. But the PC fun Police say no!
Simonthetiger would be in on this

For the first ever i hope we get that useless Badger to ref us this week it will be poetic justice to give him what he deserves. However i have no doubt he wont be appointed because the NRL know that he and they stuffed up big time and will continue to pretend that the moron got it right.

I think it sounds hilarious, as others have said its really just a harmless protest against the NRL. Definitely hope a few wayward extra balls find their way on the field this Sunday, the crowd would love it.

The club should throw some branded balls into the crowd pre-game as they did against the Eels. Just to lend a helping hand.
