Riccio has had a good chat with sheens and will be in tele soon.

Think it's shifty sheens talk as I don't believe it but he said Staines was purchased as daine Laurie back up. ( which don't believe at his price)

Commented that suprised didn't realise how large stain is on the footy field.

Still said Laurie most likey 1 but mentioned Laurie has been floating in the middle and mention Laurie as half or 14.

Congrats Laurie.

Look forward to your impact at the 75th minute each game, from the bench.

There's some talk in Concord Laurie may be promoted to the halves.
I always felt that could be an option so interesting to see if it eventuates. Brooks can be prone to hammy/lower back injuries andDL could be a 14 option to cover a couple of positions.

Time will tell with the upcoming trials.

Thanks King. I still think the back row (11-13) is still incredibly light. We are only an injury away from exposing some guys not up to it. We have Papali, Blore and Bateman (maybe). If one of them go down we are looking at:

Saukuru and Tuki (couldn't get a run in 2022 when everyone did)
Seyfarth. - depth player

And I guess other option is to turn Ofahangue, Twal or Doueihi to 13 , or Talau to 12
Agree. Think Jake Simpkin may play mins at lock off the bench

That's interesting. Well he can defend, play big minutes and he's actually a solid muscular lad. I never thought of him playing lock.
Having a passing game he would handle link play, shifts and set plays.... interesting thought Baggers.

That’s my line of thought. With some extra go forward it gives your little men time and space. Could be in Sheens little book of left field tactics?
