Really? Watching the game I could barely tell he was there ...

He played small minutes for some reason (48 minutes) but ended up 167m from 17 hit ups. Most touches of any forward bar the hookers, 34 tackles at 89.5% efficiency and zero errors. He saved a couple of tries on our goaline in each half.

It's not great, but it is becoming decent. All 3 need to work on their defense.

We have spaces opening in our centers. I expect Olam to fire post surgery if we manage the injury/rehab correctly.

Souths this year are not the top 4 Souths team we have seen in the past. They had nothing to play for while we did.

Happy to see Staines, Luke L and Turuva fight for first grade.

I am loving Benji's infulence on Api. He's game has improved and gone another level. Sure he is the only player improving but massive callout to him.

I can’t believe no one gave Papali’i points. He had a monster game in attack and defence. Had he played 80 minutes his figures would have been huge.

Api missed 12 tackles and had 4 more that he couldn’t shutdown. That is not good defence.
Also a couple of errors and less than 50 running meters when there was poor defence everywhere.
I would only play him 25 minutes per half next year.

Stef played 44 minutes = 22.54mins (1st stint) and 21.09mins (2nd stint)
Klemm played 49 minutes = 18.07mins (1st stint) and 30.53mins (2nd stint)
Papa played 48 minutes = 27.07mins (1st stint) and 8.53mins (HIA cover) and 12mins (2nd stint)
Sione F played 22 minutes = 22.00mins (1st stint)
Pole played 41 minutes = 40.44mins (1st stint)
Twal played 40 minutes = 39.47mins (1st stint)

Backrowers Seyfarth and Sam F both went 80.

I know if must be a long season for a young back rower who has had a good season, however I thought Samuela was very poor and his stats would be ripped to shreds if it was other players.

Yes. People tend to take criticism of our young blokes the wrong way.
Sam hasn’t played well for a while now. He needs a rest.
I think the management of these 18-20 year olds has been poor.
