3 key moments!

These are the 3 key moments that I believe changed momentum today, and therefore could have been why we lost.
-farahs penatly kick for touch that didn't go out
-cayless' very lazy flop
-moltzen drop off pass to heighnington
all very very lazy, when we were up 12 nil.

& the one that started it was the penalty kick.
We should have been on the attack 15m out, 6 tackles in hand, with them starting to tire badly looking at a very good chance of 16 or 18-0

if the penalty finds touch the next 3 things don't happen, where just a dumb football team that cant handle momentum changes

the 3 for me were ,
1\. moltzen
2\. moltzen
3\. moltzen

Good to have you back…..Happen to catch Robbie's game today.....

And If Fitzhenry could contest a bomb as a Winger......Moltzen would not have had so much work to do...

Musta missed him carve the Rorters up the guts for Benji's try....

seen enough to know he's not up to it as a full back. looked like a fish out of water …again.. needs to be HOOKED.

Farah stuffed the touch kick!
Momentum swinger yes, but if the boys cant recover from that in a 60min period then we are s#@t anyways!

Don't forget the 20 minute drinks break. The biggest momentum killer of all. It gave the Roosters time to re-group and it brought us down from the high we were on.

Hard to argue with that Fainty. 3 mistakes and the Tigers heads dropped and the Roosters lifted.

I know I am biased but I think we are the worst team in the comp at defending our errors.

If we have good completion rates we are always in the game. But if we give up a few dumb penalties or drop a bit of ball it always seems to compound, always seems to lead to further errors, defensive lapses, huge dips in momentum.

Do we seriously lack that much mental toughness?

Those 3 moments were spot on and turned a 12-0 (with a try on offer from Farah's kick) lead into a 30 point deficit 40 minutes later.

We should be able to recover from those moments. They were all poor but players make mistakes.

The mistakes happen - we just need to reduce them and learn to recover from them. A tougher defence would help.

Tougher defence and a few less players having a sook and pointing fingers during the next play as well

36 unanswered points!!! Thats Gold Coast Giants v Broncos from the early 90's type of rubbish!!! That will go down as one of the worst 30mins for any club this year. Well done lads and well done Royce. Your defensive techniques of arm grabs and sliding the defensive line to behind the try line are ever present.

Benji's flick pass to Moltzen on the run when he was under no pressure and a simple pass would have sufficed.

But wait, I forgot you get more points from a try if you throw a flick pass…

Stupid me.

if thats all that causes the boys to fold like they did yesterday then we are in for a long season.

ill put it down to us only having 30% of the ball from the 18th minute to the 60th minute and the heat

1\. Gibbs, Fulton and Ryan not starting (and Fitz, Flanagan and moors running out)
2\. Farah not turning up, at all, again
3\. Carney and pearce turning up and doing exactly what they wanted all game
Not really key moments but key reasons
