5 talking points from the Taylor sacking

**1) Justin Pascoe needs to find a shaver**

It was clear to all in attendance that Pascoe hadn't shaved since earlier that morning, leading some on online forums to question whether his facial hair was suited to the club.
On more than one occasion, posters linked his integrity to how clean-shaven he was. If he's to maintain favour, Justin needs a Gillette.

**2) Marina needs to FOCUS on the camera**

Another worrying sign for some pundits was Chairwoman Marina Go's reluctance to look at the camera for the entirety of the press conference. In high pressure situations of over 10 minutes, such as this press conference, her absolute focus on the camera lens could be the difference between fans believing she's robotic and perfect or that she's in fact a human. Upcoming press conferences will be telling: can Go really remain chairwoman if she can't focus on a crowd and camera intently for 10 minutes?

**3) Go no longer has it 'go-ing on'**

Despite wearing a top that showed centimetres of the skin below her neck, very few forum members could be found making lewd remarks about her appearance. Posts stating that Go is a mother they'd like to make love to or even that they'd like to take to their school formal, whilst popular at one stage, seem to have run their course. Nearing 50, has Go finally fallen out of favour with mother lovers?

**4) Justin Pascoe can count to 4**

On numerous occasions the CEO made reference to a 'big 4', leaving some confused and for conspiracies to brew. Is he the one that came up with the term? Does he believe that he truly has a big 4? If David Nofoaluma keeps being one of the few reliable players on field, will it become a big 5 or will he form a '2 piece feed' with Teddy Tedesco? Can Buzz Slothfield and co. handle something that 'big' if it isn't a bribe or a terrible headline in 120 font? Only time will tell.

**5) Its now up to the players**

On a serious note, the players now no longer have anyone to blame but themselves. Coaches have come and gone, they've been allowed to play the football they like and for all of it they haven't shown great improvement or even made the top 8 once. Myths become so when said event or talent fails to be proven in reality and this team is in danger of becoming just that.

All of you post is a load of rubbish.

Taylor got the arse because he did NOT let the players play the style that suits them. They had approached him on a number of occasions in regard to this matter. He ignored them.

Apparently in the days leading up to the Canberra game, Taylor had no less than 5 video sessions. No wonder the players did not know whether they were Arthur or Martha.

Are you suggesting players can't cope with 5 video sessions? Sounds like a holiday compared to real work. If the brain-dead NFL players can manage, I'm sure our spine can.

What a great post. Every few months someone comes up with a gem! Well done krayola.

P.s I wouldn't have minded taking Marina to my formal - we're about the same vintage…

So you think certain players should dictate the style of play for a team rather than the coach?

How is that been working out??

Bellamy consults with Slater, Cronk and his captain every day in regards to game plans. Not Taylor.

Go figure.

Responsibility's the big one. Think Sharks 14 - Flanagan stepped up and took it, they wouldn't have got the spoon if it wasn't for his suspension. Ditto Roosters 16 with Pearcey.

Too much in cahoots, boys' club, schoolyard stuff here - a decent throwback to glory days of Benji/Robbie/Beau, but the results aren't there to prove it. Could do with some one-club players who aren't as media focused (not exactly our boys' fault) like Alan Tongue.

Had a big long post but got deleted cause of swearing, I get carried away easily then forget what I wrote. Anyone have any tips on keeping below censors, it doesn't come naturally to me at all

Looked like Go flew in left her broom outside and could not wait to get back onto it and get away. What a disinterested person she was during that interview.

Col you were a JT supporter, what happened, you have seen the light, welcome back mate, onward and upward with a decent coach.
