Good to have he football back at last (good to be back perusing this forum too!), even better to be playing the tigs first up! Although it is a shame the game is not being played down at Leichardt.

**What do you think of Hasler as a coach?**
I rate him pretty highly, seems to have a no-nonsense approach, is honest and seems to have good respect from his players, I know I wouldn't want to get on his bad side.

**Who is your most potent weapon for the upcoming game?**
Depends, Benji can be if he "clicks", but I'd rather have my money on Farah being our best weapon.

**What would be your weakest position?**
Halfback, Lui is still very much finding his feet, still very fresh to the NRL level.

**Have you seen Foran play much?**
Not a great deal but every Manly fan I know has pretty high wraps on him so I would not be underestimating him.

**How do you think Foran compares to other half backs in the comp?**
Can't really judge myself, ask me after 10 rounds.

**What position do you think the Tigs will finish the regular season in?**
Honestly, 5th-8th imo, injuries will be key as always for us, but we have a little more depth this season than in the past.

**What position do you think Manly will finish the regular season in?**
I think they will be there come finals time but not quite as high as the last couple of years, I'll say approx 4th or 5th.

**Predict the score for Mondays' game?**
Heart: Tigers 72-0
Head: Manly 24-20

How many of us will travel to tonights game? Well, seeing as most of us have high paying corporate jobs in the city, once we have finished our long lunches there should be quite a few. =)

Tigergirlz, if Round 1 is supposed ot be more about a "local derby" I would be pitting us against

1) Warriors
2) Newcastle
3) Parramatta
before the Tigs.

Would always prefer the slow starting teams in round 1\. Certainly Parramatta and Souths though.

How is the crowd looking tonight?

I never really liked orford playing for us, so I am happy he is now gone. Should be great seeing the two youngster halves going at it tonight though. Thank god Foran can kick more than 20m! I think this will mean a vastly different style from Manly this year.

I few of your fellow supporters have picked up on the big difference in Tony Williams year on year…he is going to cuase teams a lot of headaches this year. No surprises it took the guys over a year to fix the poor agility / acceleration he learnt from Parramatta, but by all reports he is now set.

People picking Lui over Foran are mad. Foran played a few FG matches last year and looked quite good.

I only picked Lui because I think at half back he'd be better than Foran, from what I've seen of Foran is more of a centre/five eigth. If it was 5/8 I'd have Foran over Lui at this stage.

Hasler is a very good coach in my opinion. Incredibly underrated, took a team from wooden spoon contenders to a premeirship in 5 years, by buying a class player every year. A model that lots of other clubs are going by throughout their rebuilding stages

Benji is out biggest weapon, he creates something out of nothing, and is capable of pulling of the freakish plays that no one else can.

The whole right hand side of our attack. Lui has question marks over his head about whether or not he is up to NRL standard yet, Ayshford and Ryan, neither of them are real strike weapons, they will score a try, but will not create something out of nothing.

Haven't seen a lot of him, but from what I have seen, the kid can play.

Not sold on him at halfback, I think he's more a 5/8 from what I've seen. I think the Foran/Lyon combo may struggle to put a lot of points on the board, as I don't see either as an organising player. I can't see them taking control of the game. At this time I see Foran at the bottom end of halfbacks in the NRL, however I may have a different opinion at 9pm tonight after I've seen him go 80 at halfback

6th. Not in the top 4, but still firmly entrenched in the top 8.

11th. Mainly for the reasons I gave about the Foran/Lyon combination. They'll start off slowish but come good towards the end of the season. They'll never look like running last, but probably won't put too much pressure on teams in the 8.

ahaha, yeah, i think i agree, but the only time he started doing stupid things was when bellamy was his coach….gawd i dislike bellamy, how can he still be coach after never performing?
