I'm not sure what our 9's Side will look like and if we will be resting the likes of Teddy and Brooks what do you guys reckon?

We either go all in or all out. I prefer the second option. Too big a risk for our guns eg brooks tedesco etc to be running around for little reward

I agree to a point , but with our debts I don't think we have a choice

The 9's are a circus , just like the 20/20 big bash cricket … It's crap , it's not footy and a complete waste of time IMO .

I agree with hobbo. Any comp that lets fittler back playing is exactly that. A circus. Let it be an old mans comp with retired ex players. It's obvious a lot of them can't let go and no loss to clubs if they get injured either. Maybe throw in some nyc players for speed.

Put it this way. If Brooke's or the likes copped a season ending injury is that worth the 350k or what ever it is?

I like the nines. It's terrible when teams get injured but you see good fun attacking football happening and the crowd seemed to love it last year, wouldn't want to take it away from them.

Teddy will be no chance given his injuries. AT this stage he's given a decent chance for Round 1\. No way would we risk him.

I reckon Vanilla Thunder was pretty close to the mark.

I would play Cherrington in front of Farah for the tournament. Far better suited

Play Blair as our big name guy and the rest NYC & SC
 
I will watch this….but with about the same amount of interest I watch & wait for water to boil when cooking.

Geez ...we sucked at this first time up :laughing:
 
The 9s,good fun,exciting,crowd pleasing….until someone gets hurt..

As other posters have said,a circus and should be treated as such....

I know it may not happen,but if one of our top players is sidelined for a lengthy period,it is something we can I'll afford with our injury luck...
