I think the only players who should serve any time over this are the 4 or 5 gutless wonders who ran about 40 metres to gang up on Blair. It was 1 on 1 and they couldn't get there quick enough to get in a few cheap shots. Cowards

D'arcy Lussick was the 1 villain imo. Started the fight against a smaller bloke over a completely accidental elbow then ran to Blair to lay into him 5 on 1.

The first little fight IMO should of been the end of it after the sin bins. What happened after that was disgraceful IMO the Nrl better be charging the Fabulous Five Cowards that ran 40 metres and the two idiots that could not contain their emotions. This is not what our game is about…don't get me wrong I love the little scuffles and back chat to each other but please they could have got back at other after the 10 minute sin bin and just ran at each other all game that's what I would have liked to see.

Stewart should get a MASSIVE ban for this IMO... he could have seriously injured Blair. A few weeks back, a 18yr was sentenced to 3yrs jail for the manslaughter of another kid for an unprovoked king hit. This is the kind of stupid *bleep* that encourages such behaviour...

The league needs to change its procedure for Sin Binning of players after a melee. The first player should have been sent to the sheds and no further sin binning should occur (unless they are from the same team) until the first player has cleared the field (is heading up the tunnel) that way there is no chance of them meeting each other until they return from the Sin Bin.
Not that I minded the second blue but when tempers are up 1 comment will flare it up again. Now both of those players and others may miss Semi Final Football. I would be pissed off if the same thing happened to Tigers players when a simple change in procedure would have prevented the 2nd all in.

The team that finishes 7th will be happy if 3 or 4 Manly stars are out. But IMO I cannot see it happening Manly will just sook to the media saying how hard done by they are and Gallop has no kahoonas!

I 100% agree

If B.Stewart doesn't get at least 6 weeks there is something wrong.

Like others have said though with the Finals coming up I think the NRL will be too gutless to suspend big names. I wouldn't be surprised if Lussick is made the scapegoat because of his low profile and he cops the majority of the suspensions. While all of manly's key players get off with a week at worst.

Last night just showed again the divide between Manly and other teams when it comes to discipline. Interesting that this all unfolded right in front of Gallop who made special effort to be in attendance given the bad blood between himself and Manly. It will probably be a blessing for Manly though as Des can rest a few of his star players courtesy of suspension, with no impact as they cannot advance or drop below 2nd (unless Storm have a shocker next week). Im sure he will use the suspensions as extra fuel for an `us vs them` mentality coming into the finals.
On a side note, did B Stewart get injured after swinging at Blair? Karma if he did!

If I was their mother I would be embarrassed and reving the sh*t outta them. Stewart last week was fishing for a formal apology from Gallop. What a joke !! He needs to come crawling and kissing Gallops ass now just to play finals. Wouldn't mind playing Manly 1st up in finals now that they will only have half a side available. Lol.
