Give him time to adjust. Our teams not firing anyway, so it might be difficult for him. I'll reserve my judgement till the latter part of the year. Ellis is the only player in my books that immediately blended in.

maybe he is not used to our style of play.
he's probably standing there watching passes go flying all over the place and players running weird angles think 'WTF is going on here'

Adam played 80 mins…..................and made 5 hit ups.

Big Ben played 30 mins................and made 6.

And for those saying Sheens doesn't use second rowers right:

Ellis played the same mins as Blair......................and 15 hit ups.

I don't like to say it, but Blair was basically having a bludgey night.

Blair seems stuck to our left edge. I'm sure at Melbourne he played in the middle.

I don't think he's been a waste of money at all.

I've been going through the stats of last nights game and it hard to take anything out of it with considering that we had only 39% of the ball. Couple that with the fact that he plays on the left edge and Marshall (being out main playmaker) playing out on the right edge, it's going to be hard to make the high number of Hit ups that people seem to expect if him.

The days of roving around the field and "finding the ball" are over. I'll be more critical when we play down his corridor abit more.

I'm not going to slam the guy as the whole team is obviously struggling badly at the moment, but I did notice last night that he seems to over-read defensive situations a lot and comes up with nothing other than air. Least it doesn't make his missed tackle stats worse I guess.

Gareth made more hit ups because he was doing a lot of the tight work in the middle, Blair needs to stay on that left edge so as to maintain the shape and structure.. Gone r the days he can just go lookin for the ball

To be fair on the bloke,i was watching him last night he was carrying a leg injury,or it sure seemed like it he was always the last one back in our line,he was limping aound and was not contributing at all,why did Sheens leave him on for 80mins
and gives our bench players 10 - 20 mins on the field,if a mug punter like me can see that blair was struggling why cant the supercoach.

He did. He should be moved closer to the middle because right now he is told to stay out on the left and he isn't touching the ball because we never go down that side.

He has been poor but with the right structure he is a very good player, just hope we see it and fast.

I was going to make mention of this I think Adam has been carrying for a couple of games, also when you purchase one of the best ball playing forwards in the game and Heinington is your go to man go figure, maybe some here should question the coaches reasons for this! Adam Blair is a great signing and time will prove that .
