For a hardened balmain and now wests tigers tragic i have to work 2night down a dirty black hole 10 kms in 350m underground with no tv or radio to keep me up to date with the footy. how sad is that .

i live at holmesville mate (home of miss universe jen hawkins) but work at Ravensworth Underground (old newpac pit) and unfortunately the other bloke who does my job has cancer other wise id be having a sicky for sure considering i get unlimited sick leave

When i was working underground they used to send messages on the cap lamps with the scores in the cricket.
Should see if you can tee something up with the control room

we struggle for service in the unit im in and the control like to play funny games with the footy scores which can be funny except when the tigers are playin

So do I mate,arvo shift is no good for friday and monday footy,and the pit is no place for a radio as you would know,so I will be at a different pit but experiencing the same feelings.
