Anasta

Anasta is rubbish and everyone next year will be saying why did we sign this has been/never was.
It's kinda sad that we're so sick of the dumb things this team does and some of you guys are that desperate for change you've actually talked yourselves into thinking having Anasta here is going to change anything and your actually excited about it, c'mon seriously it's Braith Anasta ffs.
 
I wish Anasta was rubbish. Amputated my soul in 2010 at the SFS on a September night.I'm trying to hard to repress that woeful memory. Things haven't been the same since Anasta gave it to us. Things just haven't been the same.

Anasta is a good footballer but I doubt he or any of our other signings for next year are going to turn us around in 2013\. I have said before I think we hit the wall in 2011 and it will be a while for the next group to come through. We will always be competitive but its going to take another few years before anything special happens again

Oh don't worry cusschops no problem with me. It's the best way that I could express to Tiger that Anasta is not rubbish. He stole our dream that September night. Yes I wish Anasta was rubbish if we could have that premiership in 2010\. Between you & me cusschops the Rhino not diving on the ball at the scrum hurts more.

It's simple. Only one team can win the comp. 15 other teams can't. We have too many injuries. It's not our year probably. But we have the future ahead of us. I'm not gonna cry because this is what the laws of the universe dealt me. It's life. I love life & I'm just happy to be alive. Wests Tigers are part of this life but it's not everything. I'm happy I got one premiership before I die. That's all I ever wanted. Oh sure I want some more- we all do but we have to be realistic. No don't get me involved with all the lament & despair. I have no time. Life is too short. I want to enjoy the journey. My dreams & life don't depend on Robbie & Benji. I love my team but what are you asking me to do, to be upset. No way. Benji or Robbie don't even know I exist. No no I'm happy with my life. Just no time for despair. I'm into the gift of life. Everyday is a gift, to breathe is a miracle, man I'm very happy. I love Wests Tigers and I have hope for another premiership. There is nothing we can do about it. What can I do to help them. Just go & support them & that's what I do win, lose or draw. It's not the end of the world.

i'd just be happy to see a real halves combo again. We've missed that since the days of Prince. Liu was almost there, who knows what could have happened with Liu in the future, such a young kid that could have matured into a fine half and taken us to many more top of the table finishes, we will never know.

The biggest thing that peevs me off is that young Moltzen trained as our half all pre-season (has a great record with the 7 on his back) only for him to be switched to fullback basically stuffing our season from day dot. Why Sheens didnt throw Ryan, Reddy, Brown, or any other reggies back into the fullback position and see what would have happened, imagine where our season would be, again we will never know?

I cant wait for a mature head in Braith to lace the boots up for us. Weve missed that maturity in our team since the days of Hodgo and Prince. We now have our big game players in Benji and Robbie nearing 30 and have only had the one stale coach their whole playing career, maybe the benefit of a guy in his 30's thats played for a couple of teams and played in big matches will have a great affect on their games too.

I think with Anasta it doesnt matter what number he will have on his back, 12, 13 or 6\. what matters is that he will be on the park somewhere and will always be heavily involved each set.

exactly people should go read the chookpen forum they are laughing at us wanting Anasta they rip into him more then we did with Fitzhenry

Yeah they don't like him over there at all, especially when he's in the halves. I work with 2 Roosters supporters, both are happy to see the back of him.

You do realise that we went on to play St George afterwards that year and it was actually them who stole our Sept dream by a mere point, not the Roosters, don't you AHX?
