Any players sighted?

Does anyone know if either of our 2 players who were put on report were charged? Koro the winger put a nasty necklock/headslam on a raider who was stretchered from the field….

Had to laugh at myself - I've just had a look at the title of the thread and people are probably thinking I'm asking if any players have been seen around the place (sighted)!!! Not what i meant just got the spelling wrong. It should be 'cited' lol

Smeghead reported earlier today that Koroibete was referred straight to the judiciary, so he'll miss a few weeks for sure.

I'm not surprised Koro was sighted, it looked pretty bad. Regardless of intent, he should be rubbed out for a fair few weeks. I know the raiders fans aren't too happy with the incident

A TOYOTA Cup player who produced one of the worst tackles seen in years - and forced a rival from the field in a neck brace on the back of a medicab - was last night given just a measly three-week suspension.

The match review committee squibbed a golden chance to set an example on players attacking the head.

Wests Tigers winger Marika Koroibete was given a grade-three dangerous contact charge for his vicious head-slam on Canberra's Josh Mitchell during a feisty 15-6 Toyota Cup win in Canberra on Saturday night.

But with a guilty plea, Koroibete can be back playing after three weeks - the same amount of time for which Mitchell is expected to be sidelined with a neck injury.

Replays showed Koroibete placing both hands around the face of Mitchell in a two-man tackle, yanking him sideways then forcing him backwards.

However, The Daily Telegraph understands Koroibete could have been looking at a longer stint had the Raiders bothered to provide a full medical report to the committee.

While Koroibete can consider himself lucky, his Tigers teammate Sitaleki Akaoula was even luckier when he was merely sin-binned for yanking the hair of Canberra winger Brad Smith.

Replays showed he grabbed Smith's long locks, which later sparked a melee

That Raiders winger needs a stint on the sidelines to get a haircut. That was one of the filthiest mullets I've ever seen!

I think Koroibete was lucky to get 3 weeks, agree with the Raiders coach I dont think it was intentional just got in a bad position. Hope to see him in the NRL side soon, this guy is going to be a superstar of the NRL.

Nice to see the DT's anti-Tigers material extends to the NYC. Akaoula was even looking at Mullet-Man when he grabbed him. Maybe Koroibete was a bit lucky but in the next set a few Raiders players did the same thing - Koroibete just executed it a lot better and with more impact.

It was a slow news week with the Terrorgraph using still frames from FoxSports on the inside of the back page, I think Marika can count his lucky stars that he only got 3 weeks, while on the subject of the hair pull even the Raiders coach agreed that it was bound to happen to 'his' player, it was there and Akaoula couldn't resist.
