I would like to thank all servicemen and service women past and present for all their efforts and sacrifices, they have been through and made, to make Australia the great country it is.

Thankyou.

Agreed - without the sacrifices made by these people we'd have far more things to worry about than who's going to play 5/8 next year.
Sobering to remember that many who died were just kids - many younger than most of our u20s team. Lives cut way too short.
Lest we forget.

Couldn't have said it better and personally remembering my grandfather who served in New Guinea in WW2, My Bro in Law who spent many years intelligence with both British and Aus before passing away from an unrelated matter last year and a good friend of mine Mick Fussell who died in Afghanistan in 2008

Some dirtbags decided to graffiti on our local memorial. Thankfully a private contractor came in last minute to remove it in time for our dawn service this morning.

Some people have no respect.

For me it is always about the incredible courage these kids displayed.

I cant think of events like the battle of the Nek without getting a small tear in my eye

Lest We Forget the fallen.
And also give thanks and prayers for those who served, survived, but who have to live with their horrific experiences every day.
The most significant day of the year for Australia and also New Zealand. Be proud and always remember what our service men and women have done for us.
Absolute respect.
