Cameron Smith controlled play direction from the 9 at the Storm. I don't know if Api is that good at directing play, but if so and Tim recognises it as an option then why not. No need to move him into the 7.

Api was courageous enough for stepping up and attempting to convert tupou's try from the sideline, was mind boggling though given Brooks has kicked for us many times before.

Api has never done something like that when he was at the Panthers.

It's the little things that signifies the importance of having Api in the squad.

I was actually thinking this earlier.

We are kinda bad at Hooker without Api, yet I remember Brooks and AD being interviewed and was asked "how do you play differently if Api instead of Simpkin was at hooker" Answer: Not at all!

There could be a case to have Simpkin at Hooker with Da Silva or Rui as backup, Api at Halfback and Brooks at 5/8. OR just move Daine Laurie at 5/8 and no changes....

Api can't do more, he is killing it and our first gun since Teddy. I wouldn't move him, the season is a write off, unless we pull out all stops for a new 7 this year. Even then we might not get past 14th.

Sheens has made a very bad habit in the past of weakening one position to try to strengthen another and it rarely if ever works.I hope he is not silly enough to attempt it again.Api is by far our best hooker and most creative player why would anyone want to risk changing that by moving him.
