I had to change the channel on that dead boring Storm v Bulldogs game. The rugby union was more entertaining.
Thought that the other two games highlighted
How rugby league CAN be the best spectator sport.

Rugby league can be better if they go back to the way it was refereed in 2005\. Get rid of the dominant and surrender calls and allow for quick play the balls.

The league played by the Tigers and Cowboys in 2005 was great to watch. Some didn't like it as they throught it was too quick but I would much rather a quick game than watch the wrestling that goes on in the play the balls nowadays.

Unfortuantly a lot of clubs hated the way it was played in 2005 as their big forwards (highly paid in a lot of casses) were no match for the skillfull sides especially late in games and they lobbied to have the rules changed. The biggest thing wrong with NRL is that they allow the clubs to have a sya in changing rules it should be done by a committe and involve no current coaches. I think they are heading that way.

For mine I would get ride of the surrender and dominat tackle, peanlise hard wrestling in the ruck and reduce the interchange to 6 per match. I would also have an additional 2 emergeancy players that can come on if a player is knocked out or does a knee, ankle etc.., players replaced by these players can not come back on. That would make a better game in my opinion.

I agree. The grappling techniques used by the Storm are a blight on the game. If I want to watch blokes holding down opponent's arms whilst rotating into side control I'll put on an old Royce Gracie video
