Attitude & Direction

Attitude - or rather a change of - was talked about as the remedy for Saints improved performance last night. We could do with a fair amount of that ourselves!

Apart from a few players the attitude just isn't there. If Beu Ryan's attitude was adopted by the team we would be much better for it because a few players can't win matches by themselves - if anything it can backfire as seen by Blair trying too hard with a defensive shoulder charge near our line.

Bug was recently blasted on this forum for wanting more aggression - but he does have a point about our team repeatedly not turning up mentally. In the past there has always been some sort of 'excuse' but not this year. Where is our ability to muscle up, our will to win, our determination to defend?

And where is our direction and organistion? We have looked largely rudderless (or should that be leader-less?) so far, and that's before an unforeseen injury such as a bad cork (Ellis) or knock to the head (Benji)!

Should someone else be taking control of a more simple game plan out there? Wouldn't Miller provide this?
