PNG are miles off the pace.Their national side wouldnt beat quite a few NRL or ESL sides.

I don't think PNG would beat any NRL side.

There is some doubt over Brent Tate for Australia's next match and Whatmough suffered a groin injury and could miss out too.

PNG Players need to find them selves playing in NRL Sides, Each club should take 2 with some Salary cap concessions and in 10 years we will see some real results…

What's bothering me at the moment is ....

We need players eligible for Minow nations playing for these nations and not picking and choosing when they play for who ever they want.

Im not sure how we do thisbut players like Hunt, Teo and more recently Tahu who decide they wanna change their minds and now do the Haaka

There is a concensus at the QRL that a PNG Team could base themselves out of Cairns as a combined PNG and Islander Team, playing upto 5/6 matches a year on Home Soil. Funding is the biggest hurdle, but over a 5-7 year period, I reckon they could put together a strong squad through the Queensland Cup and maybe look at entering the National Competition after 10 years…
