The SG Ball side has a brilliant spine and mobile tough forwards and they all work for eachother.

Felt for the Matts team, they were on the end of some poor reff decisions

No doubt. It was a real arm wrestle but they got some very poor calls.

Heads up for next week though

Does Sheens get the credit for the win?
He should
If only 1st grade could follow his game plan like the kids do

It was a really great effort from the Matts boys but I thought they took some poor options when they had Saints on the ropes particularly early in the second half.
All Saints did to get back into the game was work for field position and use their big boys for barge over tries the Tigers didn't do that when they had the opportunity to do so. Junior, Pifeleti and Miller (the big boys) just couldn't get their hands on the ball close to the line. (lesson learned boys)

The SG Ball boys were white hot and never let St George get into the game. Moses, Cherrington, Farrell, Brooks and co put it all together in the teams best performance of the season. Moses, Farrell and Moana all bagged 3 tries each, while all of the forwards did a great job controlling the ball and taking the team forward.

Geez there must be some talent in that SG Ball side. Looks promising for the NYC squad over the next couple of years given Keebra Park will no doubt send down some young stars also.
