Basic common sense

Much of Wests Tigers turmoil recently could have been avoided by basic common sense.
If something is agreed to, put it in writing as a legal contract. A handshake is not binding, a verbal ok is not binding.
Players, managers and clubs need to realise a contract is a commitment. I am not saying benji was not promised
a contract extension with increased $$ but his manager should have got it in writing. The whole situation should not have mattered atm as he should have focused on his contract which he signed to now.
I am sorry that the whole situation played out as it did, Benji was an important part of west tigers and I wish him well in his future.
Please when we sign any new contracts, make sure the player, their manager & the club are all fully aware of the details & that it is a legal contract and cant just be disregarded whenever the player or club see fit. This protects everyone.
Now sign those amazing tiger youngsters up!
