Let him go i say , his last few games and most of last season he was running sideline to sideline .
He got better when moved to fullback running straight and hard but i guess old habits (or watching Fitzhenry ) die hard.

This is pretty old news.. im pretty sure he did the deal around 6 weeks ago

Indeed he did. Cooper Vuna from the Knights is the latest to jump ship to the new Melbourne franchise.

Sorryyyyyy, I wasn't making it out like it was breaking news, I only just heard it now and haven't seen it discussed on here and it's related to the topic. Ease up buttercup.

Vuna is a big loss IMO. He was becoming one of Newcastle's marketing tools and they'll miss because of that.

Ryan is neither as good as some on here were proclaiming after his first two games at fullback nor as bad as the same people were saying in previous years. Like Fitzy, given the lack of explosiveness, Ryan needs to be very safe and error-free to have any value to the side. Unfortunately, both players are guilty of mistakes too often and at critical times.

I wouldnt be angry if Ryan was let go.

I hope the club is looking to fill the 1 position. We dont presently have a player in our top side who can make that position their own. I would like to see Jake get a crack sometime this year.

Newcastle seem to have a thousand Fijians to throw on the wing. He may have been injured but Vuna hasn't played every game this year has he?

Bring Wade Mckinnon to the club

Yes! I agree 100%

What is going on with him? Why isn't he in the Warriors side? He used to be the best player in their side. He was the best support player in the league, he is safe under the high ball, brings out good yardage and is fast!

1\. McKinnon
2\. Tuqiri
3\. Ayshford
4\. Lawrence
5\. Tuiaki

How good is that full strength back line!?

McKinnon is at the end of his shelve life, we have better options in our ranks

Who? Fitzhenry? Ryan? We could possibly use Tuqiri but he has no experience at the back and I don't think Mullaney is ready atm. We have no specialised fullback at the moment.

I wish we signed McKinnon a couple of years back when he was homesick. I reckon he'd rediscover his old form at a new club.
