Watching him during the game tonight, geez he's an angry, scary dude! No wonder the Storm play so well **every** week, they wouldn't be game not to! I reckon he'd just about kill them if they didn't win - looks like a real control freak.

Just on the game, itself, even though it was close and somewhat interesting, neither team has much creativity to speak of, do they? Anyway, it's our chance to jump the Dragons now - yahoo! Who would've thought?

who would of though 10 weeks ago that we have the chance to leap frog the dragons and even nq who were 8-10 points in front of us.Need the warriors to flop

 he's always like that, but it works!

with what he has done thus far with what little he has - in my books surpasses wayne bennett as best coach in the world. daly m for bellamy.

I was having a laugh because the camera crossed to him about 60 seconds into the game and it already looked like someone had run over his cat. Classic.

Very true!

Hahaha! Yes, and this after 11 straight wins, now 12! Very much hard to please is old Bellyache. He'd probably do himself in if he was coaching our guys!

i personally liked his "what the f*** is wrong with this kid?" on beau champions second handling era in a row.

I usually enjoy seeing character from coaches and seeing them show a bit of emotion, like when John Cartwright cheers the Titans home. But when it comes to Bellamy blowing up at the smallest thing, swearing and shouting it just turns me off completely. He's a great coach, full credit for what he has accomplished down there but theres no reason to carry on the way he does. I really cant stand him

Theres no reason?

Theres plenty of reasons….its what makes us humans individulas, we are all unique and respond to the same situation differently.

You see shot of him in the sheds at half time, all the aggro is gone, he's channelling that energy into getting across to his players what he's seeing and whats frustraing, angering him....he's in total control despite appearing otherwise.

Apparantly, and i say apparantly, as its second hand info, but Greg Inglis said being at Souths is like a holiday camp compared to Melbourne.

I dare say Bellamy's approach works well when u have certain senior players that accept this type of coaching and lead by example. Some other "stars" in the game would probably hate being coached by him.

Well we have had no Marshall Farah hodgson all in 1 season and and didnt run 4th last did we.But in some people eyes it was a season we failed.

And this year no lote,Lawrence and several others….. what injury do smith cronk and slater have. Not much in the last 4 years.

I guarantee you if you met and knew him in real life he would be one of the nicest blokes around. I may be wrong but this is the case 95% of the time for coaches who seem like hard-asses.

When did we have Marshall, Farah and Hodgson out for a WHOLE season, Marshall missed a lot of games over the years, Farah has not had many long term injuries in the past 5 seasons (2006 he had a few, but that was it). Hodgson hasn't been at the club for 3 seasons.

Bellamy did not lose a game thoughout the entire origin period, in fact the last time the Storm lost a game was the weekend before the first origin teams were picked (the same weekend we lost to Souths). Bellamy does a fantastic job taking no name players, and fitting them into his style, hence why the Storm have been so successful.

what about hasler ripping the door of its hinges
sometimes kevin walters looks scared when sitting next to bellyache going off his nut

Here we go the twisting…where did i say the whole season.Im saying if he had his key players out they wouldnt make the 8 which then you wouldnt be rating him.....hes had some luck with key players having no injuries at all....it helps.Dont get me wrong he does do a good job down there.

He would do just fine without any one of his key players. They did just fine on Friday without Cronk against the Dragons. Why? Because the style he has them playing makes it easy for someone to slot in. Yes, he does get lucky with injuries, but his squad is more than capable of covering for them. Apart from Finch and Crocker, I can't think of a rep player he has bought in the past 6 seasons, all these class players he has at his disposal are ones he develops himself. All the other players he buys are nuff nuffs who he gets playing good football. If he can win the competition this season he would go down as one of the best coaches of all time.
