I'm a little disenchanted with NETFLIX. Is there a better/cheaper alternative. Youtube is a nobrainer but need movies and docos.

I've still got Netflix as it has easily the most stuff for my kids but the wife and I tend to watch Stan more than anything these days.

Netflix is probably the best but lately I've found myself really enjoying Stan and Disney+

I believe this is because I've been through most of Netflix so these other services are newer and have fresh things on I haven't seen, to an extent.

Stan seems to be my favourite nowadays to be honest and it's got a lot of good Aussie stuff like the Underbellys that I love and re watched.

I looked into Binge and it looks like a Foxtel service so if you don't have Foxtel, it may be worth a look as a lot of good shows on there...

Can't wait for NRL season '22 though.

How do you afford more than one and you prob have to pay unlimited broadband as well??
Or did you take advantage of free trials, I'm going to look into that if there are trials on now.

I still have Netflix but rarely watch it although that will change when Ozarks starts again this month. I watch more Prime than anything else. i also just signed up with Foxtel Now who have a 3 months deal of every channel plus sport and movies for $25. This was a good deal as i dumped kayo and binge but still get everything they offer for less. I just have to remember to dump it before the end of the 3 months.

I have Netflix, Stan and Disney +
Works out around $30 / month.

Probably use spotify the most though.
Always got music playing.

Work hard, so I can have the things I want.
Gotta keep the family happy.

@Spartan117 knows!

I cancelled netflix this month and moved to disney for a bit.

Kept stan for now.

Surprisingly I watch Foxtel the most for ESPN, discovery etc

Oh also Bluey rules in iview

Demps, $30 for all that, gee I'm ripped off, have to look into that for sure. Thanks

Just to clarify...

Disney + - 12 / month
Netflix- 16 / month
Stan - 10 / month
Spotify - 19 / month
DAZN - $3 / month

That's a proper breakdown of Streaming I use and how much it costs.

+ Foxtel on top of that.

Small price to pay for so much entertainment, imo.

Cool.
Did you get any of that on trial deals.
On top of that have you got unlimited broadband, my Telstra is nearly 100 bucks

Nah, no trial deals.
Just pay the price...

Unlimited NBN through telstra, yeah.

All adds up.

Sadly I think I have all of them and still have trouble finding something to watch. Started Yellowstone the other night on Stan which looks promising. They all have something to offer its just about the timing.

I just wish someone like Telstra could amalgamate with these streaming companies to get bundle packages.
Foxtel annoys me too, if only could select only the channels you want I would re-subscribe (are you listening Telstra)
I going to checkout Curiosity stream today, apparently it's a free streaming app for smart tv.
I'll let you know how I went, unless someone else knows.

Given they all have monthly plans I cycle through them each month. Never having more than 3 active subscriptions. By the time you’ve watched your favourites on one platform the others have built up a range of new shows you can watch. The trick is to immediately cancel the subscription upon signing up. When you do this via iPhone, the subscription expires automatically after 1 month without you having to remember. You can manage all the subscriptions in one place using Apple ID.

I checked out Curiosity Stream this morning. False alarm...it's pay subscription. Too good to be true.

Who's a clever cookie then. I would do that but I'm lazy and forgetful, can you do it for me here hee

Don't forget you can share these services with multiple people.
Just have family/friends pay for some and you the others.... then nominate yourselves on the service.
I've got 4 grown kids who subscribe to all these things and they just add me on the chain... I get them all for nix!

Is sharing subscriptions legal, if it is why am I not doing that doh!
