Just saw on Controversy Corner the odds for next weeks game. Pretty much the same odds as 2005 which I think the Dragons were $1.50.

Dragons $1.48
Tigers $2.56

Things are falling into place!

once again expectation is for the dragons to win.
this can only be great for wests-tigers.
if wests-tigers win, I can see the headlines: **dragons lose**, 😢 not as it should be, wests-tigers win

Headlines could say sour soward & bitter benny…wouldnt bother me

who cares if st.choke are favourites. the raiduhs were favourites last week too

at The TAB we were out to $2.75 tonight and the Dragons at $1.45\. How Canberra got in as short as $1.40 last week is beyond me.

That's why I put $$$ on us to win last week h2h. i also put $$$ on us to win the comp when we were $13 on friday morning

**FOR ANYONE LOOKING TO HAVE A BET THIS WEEKEND!!!\
\
READ THIS FIRST**

I was talking to my Dad this afternoon and he thought of something really clever. Stick with me while I explain.

These are using odds from TAB Sportsbet as of Tuesday night.

Tigers are currently $5.00 to win the comp.
So if someone was to put money on the Tigers winning the comp, it obviously means they think they're gonna win against St George this weekend, because to get to the GF we must win this weekend.
Therefore, if you want to have a bet now on the Tigers to win the comp, it makes sense for you to put money on the Tigers to beat St George at $2.75 INTO Tigers to win the premiership at $5.00 as they must win both games, thereby increasing your odds from $5.00 to $13.75

With me?

Now, do this for all the teams this weekend and you get the following scenario:

Dragons to win the comp = $2.25
Dragons to win against Tigers = $1.45
Raises premiership odds to $3.26

Tigers premiership odds = $13.75

Titans to win the comp = $4.50
Titans to beat Roosters = $1.80
Raises premiership odds to $8.10

Roosters to win the comp = $4.00
Roosters to beat the Titans = $2.00
Raises premiership odds to $8.00

If you were to put $10 on each of these combinations, it would be a $40 outlay.
You would make a profit if the Tigers, Titans or Roosters win the comp. If the Dragons win, you're out of pocket $7.40

Too much time on our hands?

On another side note … TAB Sportsbet have the Roosters at $4 to win the comp, Titans at $4.50\. But for this weekend's game, the Titans are favourites at $1.80 with the Roosters at $2.00 ... how does that even make sense?!

Also… odds for the final are different because the Agency must feel the Roosters have a better chance of beating either the Tigers or Dragons then the Titans given the game will be in Sydney. Because the Roosters are playing up at Suncorp.... they are at longer odds against the Titans....

Ahh k I see the logic there

Someone had a $1/4 million dbl Raiders / St Kilda…

All you need to do is have a multi on each side and your on! Tigers to win this week and GF equates to $13.75 at the moment on Sportstab. Not a problem alex do it for each side and your a chance

Trust me.. You cannot do it.. :brick:

Aight …

Then if you can't do the multi, then at least ...

If anyone is putting money this week on the Tigers to win the Premiership, you may as well put money on the Tigers to beat the Dragons too!

don't waste your time, you can never have a multi with the same team in two different legs.

what's the point of that, you're not getting multi effect you're putting a case for.

what you're suggesting is no different to any other bet you can have.
