I still think 10 hit ups is poor for a starting prop but he was much better than usual. Clearly has to play as a prop.

Very positive signs tonight for Adam Blair. Ran with purpose, broke the line and tackled well. By round 18, Blair/Farah/woods will be recognized as the best front row in the NRL!

Much improved at prop but not worth 500K a season.

Good game if you consider it his "turnaround". Pretty rough for him during the week so I'm hoping he's prepared to put the hard yards in to turn it around. I think for now he needs to play prop and keep getting more involved.

I was extremely critical of potter putting him at prop and I'll gladly admit I was wrong. He played well tonight. His defensive game was top notch. Showed some real heart.

Told you all if you played him tight he wouldn't have a choice but to work

And the break did him good as well

Still reckon we would be better off with Buchanan at 10 Blair in the 13 still playing tight

Blair doesn't have the pace to play wide ,in the middle is his best option .

Blair was greatly improved on last week.

Was it the performance of a bloke on half a million a year though?

No.

His defence was immensely improved. He was just so much more committed that he's ever been in defence tonight in his whole time at the club.

His workrate in attack though was still too low.

Put 6-8 kgs of muscle on him and make him hit it up with some venom and he'd be much better.

Next step is to get him to want to do this week after week…and even more....after having to do it tonite
