Bomb threats at schools

Just thought I'd ask

Is this becoming a big thing at the moment ??

Up here in Gladstone we have now had 4 bomb threats at 2 local high schools in the past 4 consecutive school days

Gladstone SHS had 3 in 3 days and now my sons school had one today …..

Bomb threats have been big for decades. We would have one or two a year.

Turns out I missed one Toolooa SHS had one as well

We had a few when I was at school always students for one reason or another. My favourite being when me and a mate came back to school after skipping class to find the rest of the school on the oval while they search for the ‘bomb’.

Trinity Grammar School (my old school had one) 2 years ago. I was sick that day so i wasn't attending school.

in my 2 years of public high school- we were evacuated 5x because of bomb threats back in '07

We had one recently that was a parent. (with mental health issues, I suspect)

Spent a few interesting nights there during origin once. We took about 30 NSW supporters to a local pub for the match was a night to remember….

Bomb threats would have been the least of my worries if I were a student at that school…
