"they" work for the organization and "they" consistently show they have NFI how to successfully run an NRL club that the fans can be proud of - some of who are protected by a debenture system that comes with no accountability for performance.
It appears as long as "they" maintain control success is not a priority.

Yeah agreed. It highlights the division.
Interesting that the last 4 home jerseys have been predominantly black and the moment there's some orange they throw their toys out of the cot.
Hope HBG have their lisence revoked

The way board’s are made ro be accountable is nothing like it was and is very strict.
I’m on the board of a small licenced club and I’m surprised Denny made it through the process to even become a Club Director. 🤣

I’m sure the legal people ticked off on it before the axe started swinging 👍

If you are so thick that you can't see how much uproar and division this has created, it just reinforces that you sit on the side of Wests and are not part of a United Wests tigers, making people like you the problem.. You'll all be dead in 10 - 20 years anyway and the magpie will die with you guys

apparently now it is being reported Richardson had put forward a proposal to change the wests magpies nsw cup team to Wests Tigers
apparently hbg were not happy with that proposal

If the 90% owners of the club want the reserve team called the Wests Magpies is that such a major issue ?
Don’t tell me we would be more successful at NRL level if our reserve team was called Wests Tigers.
The Melbourne Storm have been the most successful NRL club for the past 20 years and they have not once had a reserve team called Melbourne Storm.

Regarding the Magpies returning. If that was off the back off some democratically elected representatives at HBG level with market tested data saying it was good for the club, then sure. Do it. Thats how it should work.

The core of all our problems is the debenture system. Getting rid of that is the only way for us to not repeat this time and time again.

If they returned it would be one of the greatest comedies of all time, imagine them rolling out a team and getting lapped by 60 each week like the dark old days.

On the contrary, I am very careful with my comments and don’t just ‘spray’ them around.
I was very clear it was aimed at the Wests dinosaurs actively trying t disrupt the club and turn it back into the Magpies.
You shouldn’t be upset unless you’re one of them.
If you’re upset with the ‘dinosaurs’ tag you can take solace in the fact I also wear the label.

We’re probably not going to get 100% agreement but my final word on the subject is, if you are referring to Magpie supporters who want Wests back in the NRL as “Magpie dinosaurs”, I have no problem with your description. It’s just not clear to me from reading your posts.

Records are kept on all board meets , who attends , minutes of meetings , the lot , we recorded our board meetings so there was no mistakes on who said what etc , if people don’t attend you can find that out

25 years on the minute the home jersey has some gold in it he doesn't like it.
The black jersey has been the home jersey for 10 years.
A gold one comes in and it sells out but apparently hbg do not like that.
this is the mentality we are dealing with as a club

I don’t think it’s a question on who has attended the Wests Tigers board meetings, it’s a question of whether topics that should have been brought to those meetings were done so before being rubber stamped by the now ex-chairman.

Richo wanted a united wests tigers so nsw cup team as wests tigers goes a long way to fixing the divide. if we did that we probably wouldn't have had the "tantrum" over the 2026 home jersey either
