He's absolutely a good and competent CEO. I saw this up close in a past work life. I agree he is not perfect. I saw lots of this too.

Best case scenario would be that he stays.

If he does walk though, there will be no shortage of people wanting the job.

Why would you want the job? Cleary HBG can’t give the CEO the autonomy needed to be successful. We’ve improved on and off the pitch since the day the changes were implemented, now this.

Yes … I’m sure the job pays very well and will attract plenty of applicants … but there are a number of things to be across and I’m having trouble coming up with anyone actually better who would come here to do the job and work with the owners

I haven’t listened to Talkin Sport since 05. I remember at the start of that season, callers were giving their predictions. One guy rang up and said our club had “less than nothing” and we’d run last. No it wasn’t me.
