OK, if it was a serious comment, I'll respond in good faith. Maybe there are a few Magpie diehards such as Burgess who want the Magpies back in the NRL. They are delusional. In my view there is no way the NRL will allow that to happen so they are flogging a dead horse.
I know quite a few former Magpie supporters who now follow WT. Not one of them think the Magpies should be back in the NRL. I read the comments of plenty of former Magpie supporters on this forum and (perhaps) with the exception of one or two they are not pushing for the return of the Magpies either.
For myself, I am in lockstep with WT supporters. I DO NOT want the Magpies to return to the NRL. I am more than happy for the KOE side to be branded WT. I like the colours of yellow, black and white. I like the new jerseys but don't love the yellow one but that's just around personal preferences and not because it's "too Balmain".
So when you're throwing around terms like "Magpie dinosaurs"" just think about who you're aiming the term at.

There is nothing "normal" about this mob. They did the same thing last year just the names were different.
To me It's as plain as the nose on your face - It's about factional control at the expense of WTs with zero accountability for their actions until they find they are on the wrong side of the numbers.
The independents never had a chance because their allegiance was to WTs first and foremost.

It might only be a very small minority but unfortunately one or more of them are in power. They are the dinosaurs and they’re going against the responsibilities of a Board member and should be removed.

All previous form suggests it would be anyone and everyone else but Burgess who would be sacked/terminated/forced to resign as the blame never sticks to him some how it is everybody else at fault.Cockroaches can survive in a nucleur wasteland and i reckon Burgess could out survive cockroaches.

I don't disagree with your comment but I have no doubt THEY WON"T WIN. I just resent comments being thrown around like "Magpie dinosaurs". If he means people pushing for the return of the Magpies are dinosaurs, he should say that. It doesn't take much extra effort to choose your words carefully.

I’ve been guilty of that myself, it’s passion and anger coming out, that’s all. We all want a successful Wests Tigers, yet we have board members who don’t.

Does HBG even have a conflict of interests policy I wonder??

Who knows. I have no experience of licensed club management but, in terms of general management, I can't believe this mob (HBG) can run a successful club. It defies logic.
Our best chance of putting this to bed for all time is for the NRL to come out and make a statement that the licence belongs to WT only and will never be allowed to transfer to either Wests Magpies or Balmain Tigers.

He said he wouldn’t work without an independent board … why don’t we believe him ? Everything he has done this past 18 months has just been flushed
