I don’t think it’s a question on who has attended the Wests Tigers board meetings, it’s a question of whether topics that should have been brought to those meetings were done so before being rubber stamped by the now ex-chairman.

What has been rubber stamped that the board knew nothing about , what did Richo or BOF do that they were not privy to , I also note not all items go to the board , most day to day running is done by the staff like BOF and Richo , Jersey , stadium , funds for LO and Cambo , signing a player , deals for new sponsors , all via board yes , so what one was done that Burgess and co knew nothing about ,these are important issues

Don’t tell me we would be more successful at NRL level if our reserve team was called Wests Tigers.
The Melbourne Storm have been the most successful NRL club for the past 20 years and they have not once had a reserve team called Melbourne Storm.

You're problem is you assume everyone has good intentions.. it's on record from lee that there are directors at Wests and HBG who want the magpie back in the NRL.. the magpie is dead in the NRL.. it should and will never return.. My read is that HBG probably want Richo gone. Sacking the board members, making the board non-independent triggers his early release clause. They know he won't like it and know he'll probably leave. They don't want the blood in their hands.

My guess is that HBG don't like the direction he's taking the club in. They want success, but they don't like the way he's making it all about Wests Tigers.

It seems like a highly political environment and to be fair to Lee and Justin they had no chance of success. They did all the wrong things and copped it. If they did all the right things HBG would have cut their legs out live they've done here.

This is why the only way forward is for the Wests Tigers to take their licence and sell it to someone else who's only agenda is to move the Wests Tigers forward.

The members own it mate. Not these squatters holding debentures. That's the issue. They are not acting in the interests of their members; they are undemocratically there due to a historical anomaly.

The two directors, who were the ones democratically elected by the owners (i.e. HBG members), supported the review and were subsequently removed from the HBG board.

We really need to stop calling these debenture holders as owners. They are not. They are squatters who need eviction. Their decisions are not those of an owner (or on behalf of owners) - they are self-interested parties.

I actually think this may lead to the owners going. Western Sydney is too important for the NRL, and I cant see any other motivation other than deliberate sabotage.
