Brent Read says James Tedesco has re-signed

So for everyone who keeps saying it isn't official you can knock it off.

Can't wait to see who replaces him for 80% of next year when hes injured.
 
I know there hasn't been an official announcement of his re-signing, but I thought it was kind of implied by the renege story (he reneged to stay with us).

My thoughts also.
I never expected them to make an official announcement after putting pen to paper.
 
Brent Read writes for The Australian and is a Triple M Rugby League presenter. He's also Mr. Scoop.

He was quite definitive. If someone who is around it 24/7 is of the opinion that it's happened then it's happened okay.
 
Yet blokes like Fine, Akaoula, Graham, Nofoaluma, Sironen, and Seumanufagai get official Announcements…but you don't expect one for Tedesco....OK

I also thought this hence why I am trying to find a definitive answer so I can stop reading about how he hasn't.
 
Don't believe anyone unless it is from the club itself. Maybe they are having second thoughts in regard to him being injury prone.
 
To be honest I don't think we have a choice, he reneged to stay with the club, the club can't now turn around and say we don't want him. If it does that then we'll have all sorts of trouble recruiting blokes to come play for us.

So it's in the media and therefore it must be true right??? Terrible reasoning.
 
My thinking was that if it wasn't legit it would be reported on. It is a definite story if Tedesco hasn't actually signed yet after all this time. I was trying to point Brent Read at it to see if there was anything to it. He dismissed it, and that means to me that he knows it's a done deal, otherwise he would have probed someone about it.

Also … he's obviously re-signed for crying out loud.
 
My understanding is you must sign a contract with the club you are staying with to renege. The club announced he is going to renege when Tedesco made his intentions clear.
