a Balmain lost ball sees the Tigers under a barrage of attack after a stripped ball was ruled as lost, Jake Clarke saves the day by stripping the ball from a Vulcans player.

A stripathon sees Joel Reddy penalised just when the Tigers were pinning the Vulcans down in their 20m, a lost ball see Balmain on the attack again but Auckland foil the kick on the last.

Tigers have 90 seconds to travel 80 m following a Vulcans kick going touch in goal and the Tigers are attacking but a poor kick sees Auckland snuff out the Tigers chance and a penalty will see the Vulcans wrap the game up.

Poor result.

Aukland are a massive side and the lack of size for BRET was a big factor. Dave harris was our bench forward as big Francis pulled out and the rest were backs.

Still the game was there to win, some bad misses by Meaney proved the scoreboard difference.

Ioseffa still cant tackle and Reddy looked like he was just half arseing going through the motions

Bye next week comes at a good time

Some pretty dumb football cost them in the end. Also weren't helped by Steve 'Tedro' Lyons in control, he was horrific, particularly on the scrums.

Davis and Iosefa quite poor in defence, and Iosefa tried to do everything with the ball in hand which ended up being detrimental to the side.

Yeah. He killed every attacking play and Humble saw very little clean ball

Barely saw any ball, the conditions meant a winger wanting it had to go looking for it and Jogn didn't.

He also re-injured his shoulder and did not finish the game
