If they did get in, there'd be too many Qld teams. Might start a Super League war........

Will say it is a nice ground and the club is OK. Used to live about 2k's away from it.

The scary thing for me is that I feel the NRL do want an 18 team comp and they also want both an extra Brisbane team ( given the amazing Dolphins success) and a Pacifica team which seems a no brainer with the huge number of Quality Samoan ,Tongan and PNG players .That's gives 17 +2 =19 Woops they need one less Sydney team and prime candidate for that would be who's at the bottom .
IMO Pacifica makes more sense than Perth which is not a rugby league loving area and is more than twice as far away as NZ
However if they go for 20 teams then the Central Coast would have to get a guernsey as it is by far the largest population (500k+)distinct area of Rugby League loving people totally unrepresented in the NRL ! Personally would prefer the Central Coast team to be called tigers rather than bears
The move to 18 teams could be as early as 2025 the 20 teams could be 2027/8
