Brooks with quick service, balls on the chest, service in front

Completely different player.

Gets the ball in stride and uses his speed and guile....hits his runners on the chest where he has lined them up. Not out of synch. Not a moment late.

His very best moments this season came with Liddle at 9 and the past two weeks.

Coincidence?

Robbie "taking on the line", trying to milk pens, slowest service in the game... just does not work with Brooks.

Huge decision for Madge next week IF Robbie declares himself fit...

We look better without Farah in the side. Tigers legend through and through, so would love to see him get a farewell.

But I'd rather make the finals so Reynolds needs to play 9. The thing I like about Reynolds is he always sees Brooks as the first option and Benji second.

Very tough one, but we do look a lot better.

Robbie takes too much ball away from the halves.

It is not that he is terrible, but is is that less ball for the halves = we play worse.

And, at this stage, he can't help himself. There is no way he would come back and just 'shuffle' the ball to the 6 and 9 at speed.

He'd play his own game and slow it all down.

I for one absolutely love our lil number 7 wouldn’t change him for any other half in the game...Madge is really starting to show what his game has got and still working on getting the best out of him and if our team plays to everyone’s expectations well into the future sky’s the limit for the little bugger👏👍

We look heaps better without him at hooker...........2 40+ games should be a bit of an indicator for Madge

They will target and hammer Brooks all day. Against the Sharks you need a second playmaker. Matterson also has to shadow Wade Graham all day otherwise he will kill Lawrence and others on their left edge.

The game is setup for Brooks he will be up against a weaker edge defensively and also in attack. Matterson has to be on the right edge all game defensively against Wade Graham.

If Mbye is fit Marsters is straight out his mind is elsewhere.

I dont disagree about Jennings. Marsters has been very poor.

There was a reason Mbye was moved from full back to centre - it was because he wasn't performing. It was generally agreed that Thompson improved us at the back and that Mybye was looking good in the centres.

So why go back to what we tried earlier in the season and abandoned because it wasn't working ?

Both have major issues under the high ball and do not see either a a long term solution at the back
