I saw Bryce Courtney at my local uni's graduation ceremony a few years ago. He was the guest speaker and a very funny and charming character. RIP Bryce - you will be sorely missed.

On a lighter note, it's nice to know that such a great author didn't start his writing career until his mid-50s - there's hope for me yet!
