Everyone has been ditching us in the media for weeks now. Bit sick of it actually. What I cant understand is why the bulldogs arnt getting a pizzling?

Put in perspective these are the players wages for next year (give or take).

Mbye 700k
morris twins 500-600k
Ghraeme 700-1mill ( back ended contract)
Klemmar 600k
josh j 500k
tolman 500-600k
eastwood 400-500k
Kasiano 500k+

I could be off of course, but it is unbelievable that a club can backend so many contracts. I know ghraeme, morris boys and mbye are backended.

So now there in a situation that they decided they dont want some players (all these players are signed up next year) and have recruited woods and foran 1.6-2mill..

I thought the Tigers were stupid overpaying the big 4\. We have nothing on the storm over there.

Tolman might go to newcastle. But honestly except newcastle and us there isnt much salary cap money around. If they cant get rid of players to other teams then foran and woods contract wont go through. Bloody hell there are going to be some cranky/happy/unsure fans over there soon 😂😂

There was a recent article going around that basically said the Bulldogs have already spent $5 million of their cap on 9 players, including Woods and Foran. They basically have to pay the rest of the top 21 players an average of $200k each if they want to fill our their roster. Maybe we could make a play for someone like Josh Jackson, as they seemingly need to offload a couple of their players? I've said this before, but I really hope for it to happen as he is a classy player.

I would laugh pretty hard if Tigers signed Reynolds and Klemmer, James Graham was forced out to Newcastle and poor Woodsy was left friendless at the doggies.

I'd rather take Graham - Newcastle can have Klemmer

Dogs have had their front office in order for a good long time, that's why they don't get so much grief in the media. Also their results are fairly consistently good.

A few years of stability at the Tigers plus a winning culture and the media will see us as darlings. It happened around 2004-5 and 2010-11.

They might have there salary cap in order. But there playing roster isnt. With woods added that is now 5-6 props they have on good coin. They still dont have a fullback, there backline isnt flash and foran is a big risk. Not only because of his history but his hamstrings have bern bad his entire career. Honestly see them struggling next year.
