Car advice...

Hey guys, wondering if anyone here could help recommend a used car for me. I currently own a Prelude VTI-R and looking to sell for a sedan(reluctantly). The Sports Coupe has had its days and not very feasible anymore…

Anyway... got a budget of 15k, not very fussed but I am looking for a Manual (prefer 5sp)

I bought a 2006 VE Omega Commodore with 100 000km on it for 15k, it goes well and looks good, it is auto so I'm not sure what the price would be for a Manual.

@Jazza…
I see 07, 08 VE's with less than 100k km's on it for 12k and less.
You slippin.

Do a local search or whatever, then test drive a couple…
You can get a good car for 15k

You could also be a real cool guy and buy a brand new Suzuki Swift & save on petrol always.

'05 VZ SV6 commodore for about 12k
Comfy….plenny room

Mazda 6 great buy for $15k could get a low milage 3 yo car for that money

X 2 You can't go wrong with a Mazda. The 6's are pretty reliable and you should be able to pick up a fairly recent model for around $15,000

Kaiser You can't go past Camry's mate I had one for eleven years and only had some very minor isuues Just bought the new model Camry and as happy as Larry with it
Either the 4 or 6 cylinder I have bought the 4 and they bought still have good pick up
Great on mileage also Easy and cheap to get any parts (only needed water pump and replacement transponder key )
Just an idea

x2 Toyotas are the most reliable cars on the planet and the Camry is the best model of them all. Great re-sale value, as well.

You should be able to pick up a 2nd hand 09-10 Mazda 3 for about 15K Kaiser. Sister paid $20K for a brand spanker about six months ago.

The petrol SIDI motor goes good Spartan, and if you are going to buy one, get the SV6 with leather.

We are just about to buy an '09 Falcon.

Very nice drive, looks ok (not as good as the Commodores) and the inside is very comfy and has everything you need.
