Anyone watching manly v parra on 9? Matai is Carrying on to the ref that he has a bulging disc and if anyone touches his neck he is going to go off. Is it just me or is he being a little precious?

Yeah he looked like a total pork chop. This is a guy with a reputation for cheap shots, blind-sides, and niggly play. I still remember him shouldering Fitzy behind the play for no reason other than him being frustrated.

He really deserved to be sin binned. He was told on multiple times to leave it alone and he kept shouldering Hindmarsh and trying to put it on again. Not really sure what the officials wanted Hindmarsh to do.

Notice as well a Manly forward holding Hindmarsh's arm while Matai tried to hit him. Nice to see that old Manly tactic is still in use…

I was thinking the same thing Smeg. I don't like it when someone deliberately targets a player with a known ongoing injury but it's not totally unexpected you may be tackled near the neck. Just saw a Manly player do it then to a Parra attacker.
