It's a pity that the Directors of the Wrexham FC have decided to pull the plug on the Crusaders but the facts are that they aren't bringing in enough fans through the gate to stay afloat.
The Crusaders were due to have their license renewed and it would be great if the club could find a benefactor prepared to relocate the club to Cardiff or some other area where there is a larger population base that could sustain the club.
How this affects the development of the game in Wales only time will tell, when the Crusaders started to become sucessful it had a flow on effect with the South Wales Scorpions being formed and it saw a huge increase in the domestic competition.
Wales have qualified for the Four Nations on the back of the Crusaders development of the game and I hope that they prove to be competitive in this series, farewell Crusaders, your flamed burned too briefly.
