Chris Lawrence

The bloke tries but really has embarrassed himself for the last 3-4 years. He should have retired but I suppose when your on 600K you can't blame him.

However he will now be remembered as a very ordinary footballer which is a shame. I am not sure what is worse the fact that he could not out run a prop or the fact he cant seem to hold onto a football.

People blame Brooks and Moses but when you have pancake Sirro, lumbering Chris is the centres and old man Patty on the wing where are there options??

Agree. The guy puts in 100% everytime but he is just utterly useless and completely embarrassing himself. I wouldn't leave the club either if I was him.

I got told by a guy who has proven to be in the know that next year his back ended contract is worth $750k.

And we wonder why we aren't signing anyone…

The Tigers should honestly just write off the 750K down the black hole and tell Chris your in state cup for the next 18 months if you want to stay. You cant start a proper team with plodders getting in the way. Like you said, his performances are embarassing for a professional athlete.

Seriously? He put in and was more effective in his role tonight than 90% of the team. Look elsewhere tonight.

Was that before or after the 4 dropped balls? they were all right in front of me.

I thought Lawrence was ok tonight, hit the ball up hard and got through plenty of defence. But yes, sadly he will never reach his peak thanks to injuries.

Would be interesting to see his stats from tonight …thought he was good in the first half playing in the back row..

His centre days are over.....

The issue is that in games where Lawrence doesn't miss 12 tackles and drop 10 balls a lot of supporters think he was ok.

He was complete rubbish tonight. As he has been for 3 years.

It pains me to say because I know he is trying his best and injuries have cruelled what should have been a glittering career…however it's true.

He dropped about four passes tonight, are you serious?

Watch him closely he has a pronounced limp when he trys to play the ball, i rekon his hammy on his right leg is shot. He pulls up lame every play the ball,he has done for a long time imo it's not the hip it's the hammy..

When was the last time chris Lawrence made a line break?
Tries his heart out but since his hip injury has never been right. We seemed to be heartless in cutting good players like Koriebete but why so kind to him?

That's right just play him in State cup and hopefully he might just leave and Sirro and Buchanan and Lovett and Galloway. How many of these plodders do we have ?

Coz he is on a bucket of money and we cannot afford to pay him out, or have him running around in park footy.

Koro was not on much coin.

He was all right playing as a backrower, average when he had to shift to centres. We were down 5 players (Woods, Galloway, Farah, Nofo, Simona). We need to some centres so we have some strike when we get into go position.
