Cleary’s a banker

I don't think Cleary is the problem. It's the guys surrounding him. When he's had opportunities to put games away or to keep Penrith in the fight he's been pretty successful this season. Luai, though is way down on his best. I've always thought he's a top-of-the-ground player. When the earth is a bit less firm his footwork is largely nullified.

I said during the WC Luai is easily sorted out and a fake “superstar”
Cleary ripped him a new a-hole in the WC Final.
This season has proven this call right so far. It should cost him his SOO jersey.

I Think he was talking about cleary senior

luai is the big problem, pretty ordinary with no Api taking pressure off him.
Kikau.
But let’s be real here. The salary cap is the making panthers unstuck. You can have a factory of kids developing into first graders but you still only have about 1% of those that will be stars.
Each year of the panthers recent success they have suffered injuries but what if the depth players they are counting on just aren’t as affective as those that covered the positions in earlier years. Tonight they didn’t have any of their 2022 left side players outside of Luai. Cleary had his right side backs minus Martin and in the middle no fish no Leniu and Kenny plays lock in stages this year; It’s the lightest on in talent they have have been all year and then to lose Eisenhuth at the start of the game. But you make your own luck and you have to take advantage of it and finally the tigers did.

Yes he was. Nathan has played well all year and if he held that ball tighter when he dived for the tryline, would be called the hero again tonight.
Yeah, it was a close one. As soon as I saw him charge right for the line I thought he was in for sure. Bula never gave up on the tackle though, fully committed to it and it paid off.

Noticed the same thing in Nofa’s tackle to prevent that try in the corner - very good defensive effort. And it’s those extra efforts throughout the game that I think won it for us in the end.

This is all correct and I’d point out Newcastle and Melbourne were buggered with injuries as were Manly when we played them. We couldn’t seal the win.
Last night we got that little bit extra out of the squad.
Brooks’s kicking was the difference. Apart from his 40/20s and try assist kicks, he found the turf regularly and kicked smartly into corners. He played Cleary styled footy and did a good job.

Wouldn’t write them off just yet..Fisher-Harris and Martin to come back

No not at all, I’m only highlighting that their depth isn’t as strong as previous years. When they return yes they’ll be much better but they also have lost for most of the season their first choice left side of attack.
Don’t think Peachey will be a certainty they may promote Jesse McClean or Jenkins in until Tago returns.

Good on you Bula, and good on you Nofa.
They both played well and no one leads the team song like Nofa !!

And I thought Ice and Klemmer played strongly last night. All round good game and great win.
A mate of mine just rang and said the Bathurst Tigers could be the answer relocation wise, good ground. Insane supporters who’ll stand in the rain for ours ( so no roof building necessary) and will skull cans in the cold).
Reckon Pascoe could break cap sales records up there.
