Community group lobbies for Wests to be based in Campbelltown

Honestly why do people get the knickers in such a knot over something that will never happen. I have to say that i do agree with Spartan though in that this club needs to have a geographic identity whether that is in Campbelltown, Leichhardt, parramatta or perth. This nomadic rubbish has to stop. I also find it funny that those who label the people who want the return as dinosaurs but then trot out the " we saved your butts back in 1999 ". Pretty hypocritical if you ask me.
 
No you didn't - still getting used to this new platform. never intended quoting you however there are some who continually throw up the dinosaur line and then the we saved wests line. I don't see what the issue is - its not going to happen, yet some on here take the bait and seems they are obliged to dredge up the past as well.
 
Lot of it comes down to timing Spartan

Penrith was obviously looked at with a view to the future and they really don't have any competiton and it was a great decision

As was Newcastle , Cowboys and Canberra

Personally still think Darwin or Port Moresby is next super footy town
 
I called them dinosaurs - I didn't trot out the Balmain saved them line.

I'm sure you are not talking about my post "diedpretty" however I did stress both foundation clubs are in the past and we now have an identity called Wests Tigers. Lets stop all the divisive talk and concentrate on the club we have and not the clubs we had.

Just like russell though I'm sick of hearing about change

Yes i can see the need for 1 home base

But not a new identity

Lets just work on a home base for the team we have

The team we all love and want to succeed without all the crap
